Why have a Pupil Council?

Children have rights!

The United Nations Conventions on the Rights of the child states in article 12 "Children have the right to express the views they have and those views should be listened to in anything that affects them".

Pupil Council empowers pupils.

Pupil Council is a way of giving pupils a say in the way the school runs.

Pupil Council gives pupils a voice.

Pupil Council gives pupils a chance to make changes to improve the school.

Pupil Council gives pupils a forum for discussion.

Wow! What a lot of egg-cellent entries! We judged the egg scenes and chose one winner and two runners up from each class. Well done everybody!

Friday 11th March

Blue & Yellow Day

We organised for everybody to come to school wearing yellow and blue clothes to represent the Ukraine flag. Everyone got to plant a sunflower seed in the hope for a brighter future. We counted the money and raised an amazing £191.00 for the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal!
