Dear Parents and Carers,
We are so excited about seeing you all again on Monday 8th March. Some of you may be a little anxious, which is very understandable as many of you have not been in school since January 4th. That is longer than the usual summer holidays! I promise we will make sure you and your family are well prepared so you know what to do and what to expect. More information next week on this.
In the meantime, I would like to explain what is happening next week regarding your remote leaning. It is World Book Day next week so the theme next week is ‘the joy of reading’. Also, keep sending in you staff drawings, they are brilliant! All the tasks for the week will be uploaded on Monday 1st March on Dojo. It will be similar to the Friday tasks! There will be exciting activities, links etc. related to World Book Day. You will be able to choose which ones you do and most importantly have the time to enjoy reading your favourite stories!
The class teachers may take time to respond to things uploaded next week but they will definitely see you for a Teams meeting to answer any concerns and talk about the exciting things you will be doing when you get back to school. Have fun!
Thank you so much for your positivity and support during this second lockdown, it has been a challenge for us all but we have got through it by working together. I have emailed you the recent collated responses to the Remote Learning survey. The staff are overwhelmed by your lovely comments. I have tried to respond to individual comments that raised areas for further clarification, but please do get in touch if you would like to discuss your points in further detail. If you have any queries or concerns please do not hesitate to contact your class teacher through Dojo or email me. Every family will feel differently about March 8th but I promise we will work with you to overcome any anxieties or concerns.
