P.E- Explaining the water cycle through dance
Science morning at QEHS
Today, in science, we were investigating vibrations. We looked at what happened to cheerios when we hit the tambourine and also what happens when we place a tuning fork into water. We had great fun!
We had so much fun getting splashed by the vibrations in the water.
We had so much fun seeing the water vibrate and spraying us!
World Book Day
Wow, year 4 all your WBD costumes are amazing! Well done on all the effort you have put into your characters!
A visit from author, Jason Beresford
On Monday, we had an author come to school. Jason took a whole school assembly and acted out the first chapter of his book. We all loved it, he was so exciting to watch! Scarlett from our class was chosen to act out the VERY enthusiastic character in his story.
After assembly, Jason did an activity with our class for the children to create their own superheros. The children all went outside to act out their superheros and introduce themselves! All the children were completely in character, it was great to see!
Well done year 4, you were all fantastic!
We felt brave and performed our Magic Box poems! :)
In science we have been making series circuits!

The children practised doing a war cry before charging into a pretend battle! They had so much fun and were so good at pretend fighting! Some of the shields came off a bit worse for wear though.
