We didn't let the bad weather get in the way of practicing our net and wall games skills. We used balloons to practice our forehand and backhand shots before turning our attention to GaGa ball. It was lots of fun.
We invited our parents into school to show them what we have been learning this term. We started with our Water Cycle Song and then challenged parents to see if they could complete similar work to that which we have been learning such as; writing a poem about a mythical creature, accurately measuring objects, locating various rivers and mountain ranges around the world, sequencing the water cycle and various maths challenges.
World Book Day
Here we are enjoying our school reading books (though not in our everyday attire!).
As our topic this term is Imaginary Worlds, we are reading as many stories from imaginary worlds as possible and sharing what we discover with others. We will be capturing ideas and exciting vocabulary in our Imaginary World scrapbooks for use in our own story writing.
We are exploring the Easter story in RE and discussing whether or not it is always possible to forgive.
Children created a story board to capture the story of Jesus' betrayal.
