Force Meter Investigation.
Force is measured in Newtons (N). To test the different forces placed on objects the children worked in pairs to find ten different objects around the classroom which they then measured the force acting on them using a force meter.
Then, we picked ten objects from around the classroom and the children discussed what order they thought they should go in; from the smallest force exerted to the largest.
Then we measured the force and re-ordered the objects. They were in a different order to the one we had predicted so we then discussed why this might be and wrote up our investigation.
