As part of our topic on Ancient Greece the children were encourage to make and try a dish from that country.
One of the children chose to make Kourabiedes (Greek butter biscuits). The main ingredient they use which we, in the UK, are perhaps not as used to was rosewater. She made two batches one with rosewater and one without.
We gave the children the ones with rosewater to try first, some children were not keen on the rosewater (as you may be able to tell by the photos!), however the second batch - without rosewater - proved very popular with the children!
